The Daily Star asked us to create a promotion that built traffic for their website, www.dailystar.co.uk with an offer with a high value.
We spoke to www.audible.co.uk, experts in downloadable music, talking books and comedy and convinced them to give us two free comedy downloads for every unique visitor to the Star website. Site visitors would have to register with Audible to download their two totally free comedies – featuring everything from Monty Python to Harry Hill.
Audible.co.uk benefited from the exposure on the Star website with a banner on the homepage linking to a co-branded landing page.
The promotion generated 3,800 unique hits and 440 registrations and downloads.
