The Sun’s £9.50 holiday includes some European parks; the challenge was to create a stand alone European promotion.
GFM met the main European holiday park and camping operators to create a promotion offering £9.50 holidays in 194 parks spread across 11 countries. Ferry and flight deals were included to strengthen the promotion further. GFM provides a turn key solution for The Sun which includes processing all bookings, dealing with reader enquiries, designing and writing the editorial copy as well as building the website which supports the promotion.
The Sun’s “Euro hols from £9.50” runs in paper just after the original “£9.50 Holidays” promotion and further confirms the Sun’s position as the leader in newspaper promotions.
The European promotion helps extend the circulation lift created by the Sun’s £9.50 Holidays promotion.
