To sell room nights in Ramada Jarvis' 42 hotels leading up to Christmas.
We created a 2 for 1 offer with Ramada Jarvis and linked up with Britain's biggest selling newspaper The Sun. We broadened the offer to appeal to families or couples by including kids stay and eat for free, and free wine when readers dined in the hotel restaurants.
GFM's experience of working with the hotel sector and national newspapers meant we could create a promotion that worked for Ramada Jarvis and interested The Sun. The promotion was given editorial covergae in The Sun featuring all hotels and prices.
Just under £180,000 of revenue was created as a direct result of this promotion and it has been repeated each year since its first appearance in 2003.
