To create a fun way for Metro readers to apply for free preview tickets to the new Universal blockbuster The Good Sheppard.
GFM created a competition “The Secret Screening of the Good Sheppard”. Readers were challenged to decipher a secret code printed in Metro and send their answers by SMS. Winners were informed by text and their details added to the venue guest list.
The competition was an effective way to promote the film preview and film launch. SMS was an administration free way to fill the preview screening and as always GFM provided a turn key solution.
Metro liked the promotion and Universal got publicity for their film launch.
