To create a telephone competition for the Daiyl Mail to increase circulation and alsoraise awareness and drive traffic to femail.co.uk their women’s lifestyle web site.
GFM conceived “Virtual Destinations Text2win”. Entrants entered by SMS or via a micro site on femail.co.uk. Entrants were sent a "lucky destination" by email or SMS. You won if the "lucky destination" matched a destination printed in the newspaper. Spot prizes could also be won by visiting femail.co.uk. Registration details were captured for marketing.
GFM were able to provide a turn key solution which included a live helpline, claim line, web build, text and emailing. This was the first ever "text" competition - circulation of the Daily Mail increased and web traffic went up.
A huge success with over 120,000 texts and 30,000 emails generated over 4-week period. GFM exceeded expectations and delivered on all objectives.
