To introduce a mobile phone service for players of GFM's various Fantasy Games which enabled players to track their teams performance from week to week.
GFM created a solution which allowed players to receive points and position updates by SMS. The Fantasy Game servers held at GFM automatically triggered the SMS messages to go out as soon as information was updated on the relevant websites.
The service meant that keen players of Fantasy Games were kept up to date on the move. An additional revenue stream was created by using premium rate SMS tariffs.
Adding mobile interaction improved players enjoyment of Fantasy Games and helped maintain GFM's position as an innovator in Fantasy Games.
