To create an engaging online fantasy game based around music, to regenerate interest in the UK charts.
GFM worked with the Official Charts Company to create a unique fantasy music game. Incorporating both the Singles and Album charts, the game required players to keep an eye on all chart acts. The game was run in conjunction with the Network Chart Show, which showcased the game each Sunday.
The Official Chart Company was able to rely on GFM’s extensive gaming experience and attention to detail to deliver a challenging and fun to play game, allowing it to focus on its own core activities.
Instead of just following their favourite artists, game players became interested in the whole of the charts, driving renewed awareness to a wide audience.
